My name is Valarie Maus, and I am a mother of two adult children. For the past fifteen years, I have been in retail sales - selling items ranging from fragrance, fine jewelry, athletic dancewear, plus sized womens apparel and more.

As of the end of June this year ( '07 ) I have taken the steps of doing what I love the most - THAT being a full time freelance photographer! I am a self taught artist who loves color, rich textures, bold views and various angles, but at the same time, I fully appreciate the simple, yet common most things I see on a daily basis. To me, photography is all about capturing images that pass us by within a moments notice.
