Equipment

Equipment

I shoot subject matter in both digital and film. Although I have found there are advantages and disadvantages to both, I personally choose digital over film as my preference.

So why digital? This is a question most easily answered quite simply. I use cameras from the diverse collection in the Nikon line. To date, I use the Nikon D200 and the Nikon D70 ( as my backup. ) I have found each camera ( one having a capability of higher mexapixels over the other ) delivers quality and accuracy in tested results when using each in a manual mode of operation. Nikon gives both the professional and semi-professional shooters a vast range of a camera line making it easy to take fantastic pictures, providing the user has a working knowledge of such particulars such as aperature, depth of field, focal points, rule of thirds, etc..

So to summarize, it is in my general opinion that when speaking of a certain type of camera from the Nikon line - a Nikon camera is the one I'll always be carrying - as I expect no less in quality and reliability when it comes down to equipment in my profession.
